NYC STORIES: LA COLOMBE

La Colombe Coffee ShopI love discovering new cozy coffee shops in New York. It’s like going on an adventure every time. This time, let’s talk about La Colombe. I was introduced to their coffee a while ago, and visited some of their coffee shops in SoHo, but Friday I found one close to my job, which just makes me so happy. La Colombe is located all over downtown Manhattan, so there are plenty of places to get your coffee fix (not to mention all the million of other coffee shops).

La Colombe is a bit more expensive because is it representative of roasters that originated in the third wave of coffee, which is high-quality coffee making all stages more intense and expensive. They are also one of the early pioneers of direct trade coffee sourcing (no, I’m not sponsored, I just L.O.V.E coffee). Bottom line is that I really think it’s worth the money, and I definitely enjoy their coffee a lot!

If you visit the one located in Chelsea, make sure to walk around to experience awesome graffiti and picturesque industrial buildings, not to mention all the galleries located in this area.
