EXPLORING BUSHWICK

Bushwick Bound

Last weekend I was Bushwick-bound to go hang out with my friend and get inspired by a new area (In my two years of living in NYC, I’ve actually never visited Bushwick). As soon as I got up from the subway I saw the most breathtaking @TheBushwickCollective graffiti on the tall industrial walls. My friend had told my about it, but I was amazed when I saw it!

It was a wonderful Spring-like day, so I jumped at the opportunity to wear my pink bomber and feel a little summerly and fresh. With that I put a hoodie, pants with romantic ruffles, loafers, and statement details. Exploring a new area of New York gave me a ton of inspiration and made me really  happy. It’s so easy to give into everyday life and live in the same circle of morning coffee, subway ride, work, subway ride home, dinner, TV, goodnight, and then again… It’s boring, and it’s not inspiring at all. This day really roved to me that I need to go explore. Take some photos. Meet new people. It makes me so happy. Maybe the fact that the sun was shining bright helped me get out, but I will definitely push myself to explore more of my city.
