December 11th: Christmas hygge!

What’s up guys? Did everyone have a good weekend? Maybe filled with Christmas events? I had such a lovely weekend starting with an “after work” walk up Madison Avenue to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations at Lotte Palace, Saks Fitfh Avenue, and the Cartier flagship store.

Saturday I woke up to a Winter Wonderland. So magical! We spent a little time out in the snow, I bought a bike, hoping to start biking to and from work (a great workout!), and at night I went to the most amazing event at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. It was called “Amateur Night Christmas Edition,” but those kids were definitely not amateurs. Such talented young people from the age of 12-18. Made me rethink what I’m doing with my life, hah! (If you want to see little snippets of it, I’m posting a vlog on Wednesday with all of this! Stay tuned.)

Yesterday was all about relaxing (when isn’t Sunday about this?). I cleaned the apartment, got a manicure, baked Chocolate dipped Shortbread, watched Christmas movies, and did a little Christmas gift shopping online.
