December 10th: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

And then it started snowing in New York City!

I woke up so excited. I had bought snow boots on Friday after work to be properly ready for the snow I had heard about, but didn’t really believed would actually come (you know, they always say it’s gonna snow, and it never arrives). The snow makes everything feel so festive and magical. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

We actually went out in the snow to buy a bike for me, so that I can bike to and from work, but I guess I’ll wait a little bit before I do that. I don’t mind though, this is so cozy!
