MY NYFW

I love NYFW or actually just fashion week in general! The streets fill up with fashionable people, street style photographers, and the social media is booming with inspiring content. The only thing I don’t like, is the lack of sleep that always tend to be a thing. I wanted to share my NYFW with you and show my favorite outfit of the week.

Outfit

Moncler

Monday I attended the Philipp Plein Men & Women’s fashion show in the New York Public Library on 5th ave. My favorite location! The PR company I work for was doing the afterparty for him, so I was there to capture some fashion-and-celebs-action for social media. Pretty impressed when I saw the celebs showing up, I mean Madonna (!!!) was there. Tyga, Kylie Jenner, Paris Hilton, Bryan Boy, Dascha Polanco, Desiigner… Pretty big! The show was super dramatic and I loved the oversized puffer jackets, statement hoodies, and knee-high sneaker boots.

Philipp Plein

Tuesday I went to the Moncler Grenoble show. They always bring something extra! This time was themed Alpenland, and the plot was set around a Winter Ball. I definitely dream of going on a fashionable skiing trip wearing all Moncler (or just on the streets of New York). They have such statement pieces. I especially loved the tartan jackets and fur accessories.

Marrisa Wilson NY

Thursday I attended the Marrisa Wilson NY presentation. She’s a fairly new designer, and I loved supporting her! The collection was full of 70’s references. I loved the yellow track suit jacket and the semi-wide pants.

One of the most fascinating presentations I have ever seen at Fashion Week. Moncler Grenoble took the catwalk a step further in the surroundings of Lincoln Center in New York City. The show started out with the blue “fashion army” walking around to the sound of a constant beat and following orders to new positions. I was there for my job, to update their social media, and shot both videos of the fashion army, the presentation, and photos for Nadine Johnson’s Twitter and Facebook.

After the show, the models took position around the plaza and we could now take a closer look at the collection. I had been worried about the models getting really cold in the -16 degrees celsius that hit The City on Saturday, but boy was I wrong. Their gear was on fleek!

I very quickly agreed with myself that I of course need every single outfit for the next winter here, ’cause I never tried anything so cold. And I’ve never seen warm winter outfits looking so damn fashionable.
