Things I love about NYC: Early Mornings

The calm after the storm

As we speak, I’m laying in bed accompanied by magazines, a cup of coffee, and SATC on the flat screen. A pretty ideal Sunday morning I must say. Honestly I’ve had to get used to being able to do whatever I want, when I’m off work. My mind is still set on a constant “I have to study”-mode. But last Tuesday I finally graduated, and I can now add Bachelor in Media Studies to my resume. It feels so great! A personal accomplishment.

And with that I’m happy to say, that I’m back. Today with an outfit from a(nother) chill Sunday spent with a good friend. We decided it was time to be a little cultural and pay a visit to The MET. Mostly to experience the Manus X Machina exhibition. And can I just say, it was amazing. Definitely a recommendation, if you haven’t been there yet and find yourself with some extra time in The City (it runs through August 14th). I wore my new denim jacket, which I plan on glaming up with pins and patches that reminds me of great inspiration or good times. The first pin I put on it is the ‘Dancing Girls’-emoji Emma gave me for Christmas. The second pin I bought this very Sunday at The MET. A glamorous lady in pink.

Btw (now that I’m sitting in bed watching SATC) I actually met Miranda in the 14th street subway station last week. She was so Miranda-like. Exactly like when I met Carrie. Two down, two to go. I love how in New York anything can happen. And I’m so ready for New York to bring be much more, now that I actually have time to enjoy it.
