The year of 2015 has come to an end, the virginity of 2016 has been taken, and that of course means time for reflection. My personal New Years resolutions were a bit different for 2015. My New Years resolution was to get an internship in New York City, save up to move here, and then actually make it all happen with visa and all the practicalities. And as we rounded the corner of 2016, I can proudly say that all of this happened. And more. Because being here has brought so many great opportunities, happy memories, and life changing factors with it.

One week in, in 2016, I thought I would share with you my resolutions for the year:

Run a 5K in NYC
Cook more new recipes
Be more focused on feeding my body with vitamins and minerals, to gain more energy and stay healthy
Feed homeless people (a hot coffee or a bagel never hurt nobody)
Read more book for enjoyment (not school related!!!)
Take control and let go of the ‘Fear Of Missing Out’ I’ve developed over the last few years
