I’m one of those people who always get a certain urge for caffeine once the clock hits 3PM (and as soon as I get up in the morning not to forget). So I often enjoy that 10 minute afternoon coffee run with a colleague. It breaks up the end of the day nicely plus I get my caffeine kick (plus the fact that I often make them snap a few photos of my #OOTD for Instagram – you gotta be smart!). Win win (win!). It was such a hot and humid day, so we just hurried to Starbucks for the usual (unsweetened iced coffee with soy milk) and walked around the block back to get back to the A/C. I kid you not, two minutes after we entered our office building the sky opened, the temperature dropped 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and the flood storm warning went off on our phones. New York can be such a drama queen sometimes.

But let’s just talk a little more about coffee… Here are 5 of my go-to coffee shops to get that satisfying cold brew coffee:

Cafe Henrie, 116 Forsyth St

The French Block, 353 W. 14th St.

Stumptown Coffee Roasters, 30 W. 8th St.

Greecologies, 379 Broome St.

Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, 151 W 19th St

What is your favorite coffee joint? Not only in NYC, let’s include the whole world!
