This & That

It’s Sunday. A day that, for me, will look something like this: Go to the gym, make brunch at home and enjoy with Edward, study a few hours, get a mani and pedi, and then go enjoy the amazing weather NYC is bringing today. 23 degrees celsius. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be even warmer (27 degrees celsius!!!), which couldn’t come on a better day, as I’m working at an event at TriBeCa Film Festival at night. That can only be a good evening.

Anyway, back to today. ‘Cause what I have for you today is a little of this and a whole lot of that. Basically a visual diary from the past few weeks. I hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

Breakfast for lunch at The Butcher’s Daughter

What I love the most is meeting good friends and having a good piece of Danish “hygge” over food, coffee, you name it. One of my favorite spots is The Butcher’s Daughter (19 Kenmare St) and here we’re having kale salad, smoothies, coconut yogurt with granola and berries, and coffee (of course). I can seriously eat their breakfast all day long.

Eating delicious acai bowls at Two Hands | Walks by the water is one of my favorite things to do |  Dreaming a little at Barney’s Downtown  | The art of people watching

If you are not already following me on Instagram here’s a little sneak peak of what I post in there. I love exploring New York City, and I feel like there’s always something new to discover (not to say how many great coffee spots there are in this city). I’m definitely spoiled being surrounded by this every day. I upload daily, so if you want to see more definitely go check my profile out.

Heaven on Earth

On a random stroll in Nolita me and my friend found this little piece of heaven. A smaller space than my bedroom (which is not very big) is packed with magazines from floor to ceiling. The walls were covered in beautiful and inspiring front pages. Imagine all that creativity gathered in such a small space. That’s powerful to me. And of course I didn’t leave empty handed.

Avocado toast at Five Leaves, Brooklyn

A great day strolling around in Williamsburg with lovely Pernille. Here we shot the “That 90’s Gal” series and did lost of fabulous vintage shopping.

A tribute to good coffee

Having coffee at Bluestone Lane. I drink coffee every day, one-two-three cups sometimes. It’s both a way for me to get energy in the morning, and then it’s just a thing I equal with Danish “hygge” (again with the “hygge”, I know, but it’s something I, as a Dane, cannot let go). All those lovely coffee moments I have in my memory, often including lovely people, but also just quality time with myself and my city.

Sunsets

I’m gonna end this post with a little magic from the Hudson River Waterfront Park. Edward and I met up after work to catch the sunset. I love watching sunsets as that is really as natural as it gets. It happens everyday, and every single day (if the clouds are not shadowing) it’s so damn beautiful.
