Autumn in New York

Sunday. One of those beautiful and sunny, but freezing Autumn days in New York. And one of those days where I felt more inspired than I have been for a while (hint the missing blogposts…). It was a perfect day to take my camel coat (and Emma) for a stroll in The West Village, doing a little bit of shopping, having coffee (mandatory), and just enjoying this lovely city that we are so lucky to live in. I guess it has taken me a while to admit to myself, that I cannot live the New York adventure every single day, when also having a full time job and finishing my BA. It has been a feeling of not getting enough things done. Of having to be out and about in New York 24/7. Admitting to myself that I simply can’t do everything was a process. But I think I’m there. Almost.

IMG_5134So this weekend I decided to get the boring things out of the way (get things done, so to say), and make some room for a relaxing Sunday after the chores. A Sundate (Hah, got that?!). Just me, my city, and a fab friend. And it felt so good. So calming. Leaving me with energy for the new week to come. And this Friday, as I write this, I’m still filled up with this happy feeling, a good vibe if you will. Maybe it’s because the weekend is just around the corner, or maybe it’s simply because I finally figured it out.

    Savner dig og NYC!
ps. kunne være ret cool med en “Moving to Manhattan” guide – how to? Hvad gør man? Hvordan er det – rent praktisk men også følelsesmæssigt?

      Vi savner også dig!
Det er en rigtig god idé. Du er ikke den første, som nævner det, så det må jeg lige få stablet på benene!
