Brooklyn Bounce
This weeks adventure started in Williamsburg, where I met up with Emma for lunch and lots of girl talk. We had such a nice day walking around the artsy area of Brooklyn, shopping in the cool thrift shops (I left with to little 70’s looking vintage platters and a marble coffee table), drinking iced coffee at this little hidden treasure on Driggs Ave (which I will talk more about later on), and talking fashion, photography, and what not.
It still feels very much like summer in The City. We almost hit 35 degrees celcius, and combined with a humidity at 64%, I felt like vintage denim shorts and a cropped tee was just the right outfit to wear for a Monday stroll. I tell you, it was stil h.o.t. And although summer is (and always will be) my favourite season, I can’t wait for fall and cozy knitwear. So much that I actually tried on a dark green sweater in one of the vintage shops. Coloured just like the leafs on the trees right now.
But hey, I’ll enjoy the warm weather during New York Fashion Week, and then fall can arrive. Deal?!
