The Most Epic Manhattan View

It’s still very much summer in The City, and I’m enjoying every second of it (with a few interruptions of going to Denmark and London, but more about that later). Last Sunday I took the car and drove to my friend’s house in West New York. First of all, I was so proud of myself for driving the car all alone in this crazy city and making it to my destination in one piece (I might or might not have done a cheer or two during the ride), and second of all I was so happy to be hanging out at my friend’s house instead of some coffee shop in SoHo. I remember when I was younger we always used to go to each other’s houses and hang out in the garden with the coffee we had made ourselves and the snacks we had found in our kitchen. Not a fancy café with overpriced coffee and cake, and too many people talking too loud. Gosh, I miss those simple days. So that’s what we created. A calm day by the pool with the most epic view over Manhattan I’ve ever seen.

I wore the shorts from my birthday suit with the cutest croissant t-shirt and a big straw hat. A perfect airy outfit for a humid day.
