Black on black on black.

Admitted: I was never a blackster. I?m Danish, yes, but black just never spoke to me. Every time an event would require a ?black only? outfit, I would have a major outfit-crisis. For the time I?ve lived in NYC I?ve done so many events for my job, all of them with ?black only? outfit requirements (the one event where we could actually where whatever-but-chic, I of course wasn?t staffed).

I don?t even have count on the amount of outfit crises I?ve had over the past year. So I decided to do something about it. I started buying more black items, this Kenzo X H&M sweatshirt included, and lately I?ve actually been enjoying the un-color. I think the fact that the darkest months of the year are upon us also helps. But so far black is growing on me, and this outfit is definitely on my ?Top 5 Outfits? list. I think, for me, key to wearing an all-black outfit, is the diversity in material. A feminine sweatshirt with biker leather trousers, maybe silk with denim, or fur with more sporty items. Next black purchase you ask? Trousers. And most likely the loudest ones I can find.
