Burning Streets
On Tuesday I met up with Emma right after work for a dinner date at The Standard Grill and a little stroll around The Meatpacking District. My office is located on 18th and 9th in Chelsea, which puts me right next to all the cool little areas downtown such as SoHo, Greenwich Village, The Meatpacking District, TriBeCa and so on.
The streets in Meatpacking are covered in cobblestones and the buildings are old and industrial. The real downtown vibe. One that I walk around in every single day, but tend to forget to appreciate.
When the night is as beautiful as it was on Tuesday though, it felt so great to just stop for a minute and look at my amazing surroundings. Little cafés, cool boutiques, art galleries, artsy personalities, and streets that actually remind me a bit of Copenhagen. Definitely worth stopping up for. Life is just great.
